Hutan Aceh is an "Open Data" website dedicated to generating greater transparency over the management and use of forest resources in Aceh. It combines government data with real-time information from the ground to help stakeholders better understand drivers of deforestation, resource allocation, and to identify forest and wildlife crimes.

Hutan Aceh is a joint project between the Coalition Concerned for Aceh's Forests (KPHA) and the Environmental Investigation Agency (EIA).

KPHA is a coalition of Acehnese NGOs working independently and collectively on issues relating to forestry, biodiversity, land use and corruption.

The EIA is an independent, international campaigning organisation committed to investigating and exposing environmental crime.
